PURPOSE IN RUNNING FOR OFFICE

  • John Raymond has lived a fulfilling life, both personally and professionally, and has made a positive impact in our community.  Now the season has come to make a huge difference on the state level.   
  • It’s time for Louisiana to be at the top of the list for good things rather than being known as the state that is always struggling at the bottom.  We need some significant structural changes that may even necessitate a Constitutional Convention.
  • Louisiana has a world-class culture, an abundance of natural resources, wonderful people, talented students, and capable professionals.  We’ve bounced back from Hurricane Katrina and the B.P. Oil Spill.  We’ve got Drew Brees and Anthony Davis, for crying out loud!  
  • Louisiana can become a national leader in many areas once we cut through the politics of the past and set a strategic course for future success.
  • I’m asking for your vote and support to send me to Baton Rouge to make positive changes for your children and mine. Together we can fix this broken state but we have to act fast. “Politics as usual” is destroying us and Louisiana deserves better.
  • Please elect me to the Louisiana House of Representatives for District 90 and put me in a position to fight for your family, finances faith, and future. Together, we can fix Louisiana!
